This month kept me pretty local to my hometown in North Georgia. My first wedding was at Arran Farm (https://www.arranfarmevents.com). This is one of those places that is a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor. The chapel, where I played for the ceremony was open on three sides, overlooking some rolling fields and mountains. Just behind the chapel is a barn setup for the dinner and reception.

I did have my speaker set up on low volume here as the wind was blowing, but I think a quieter day I would be fine without it.
The following week, I returned to Sanctuary Estate (https://sanctuaryestate.org) here in Cleveland, GA. This time, I played for both the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony site was in front of the house in the garden while I was on the porch out of the threatening weather. See me trying to make my speaker unobtrusive for photos? Did it work?

We were really lucky that the rain held off. It started pouring down once everyone was relocated into the barn for the dinner. I was positioned up in the loft where I could play for everyone down below. The barn setup was beautiful and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

My last stop for the month was at Ark of Lake Lanier (https://arkonlakelanier.com) for a birthday party. This rental home had a huge kitchen (and a delicious brunch supplied by Scott’s Downtown, https://www.scottsdowntown.com), pool, several outdoor dining areas, lake access, vollyball…And that was just what I saw on my way in.

I originally set up on the porch, but we all decided it was too humid and moved the party inside. I didn’t get any pictures of the spacious dining and living room, so I guess I’ll just have to go back sometime. 😊
