What are your rates?
My rates are determined by many factors, such as distance to the venue, length of time requested, and whether or not you would like a specific piece of music I need to arrange or learn. Please contact me to discuss your event and rates for what you are envisioning.
What can I expect from you on my wedding day?
I will arrive an hour before the ceremony begins to unload and let the harp settle into its new environment. I will touch base with the officiant and/or wedding planner to make any final adjustments, if necessary. About 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, I will play prelude music to set the atmosphere. I also provide music for the processional, lighting of the unity candle (or other special music), and recessional. I will continue to play a postlude until your guests have left the venue.
What can I expect from you for my dinner/cocktail party?
I will arrive at least a half hour before the party begins to get unloaded, the harp settled and tuned. I play a mix of well known tunes, some pop music and some pieces specifically written for the harp.
Can you play outside of Cleveland, GA?
I am certainly happy to travel to your venue. I am willing to drive up to two hours away!
Can you play at outdoor events?
The harp is a great choice for outdoor events! A harp can project in an intimate outdoor setting without amplification, although I do always bring a battery powered amplifier if it is needed.
How does payment work?
I require a non-refundable deposit of 50% at the time that you secure the date for the event. Unless you have booked through one of the “gig” sites that automates the payments, the remainder of the balance is due the day I play for your event.
Can you play a special request?
I’d love to provide your event with a song that is significant to you! This song does need to be available in piano or lead sheet form for me to arrange it. I will need at least three months advance notice in order to learn the song on the harp.
